Introspection

It’s been a while since I’ve written anything; I got a feeling that may be I am in a stage of life where I am introspecting myself. Every now and then it’s good to take a short break from what you are doing in your day to day life. Watch your life closely from an entire totally different perspective; you will be amazed about what you will find. Most certainly they are very interesting facts which you would never find if you are not out of that zone. This practice helps and gives you a chance to improve, change, think and correct yourself. Like how you put an alarm to wake up in the morning put an alarm to wake yourself from life before it runs over you and takes control over you. Intelligent people create their opportunities, Smart people make perfect use of their opportunities only dumb people give away theirs to others. People who fall in the last category lack introspection so they are completely ignorant about how to make use of opportunities when they come their way. Reminds me of a proverb “You can take a horse only to the well but you can’t make it drink the water”
Now the question comes how do you actually do it? Give yourself a short break from your regular life and choose a place where you have freedom and your mind will be at peace. Just like how you do your physical exercise at the gym this is a mental exercise which needs loads of concentration. Think about all the things which you wanted to do and all the things which you hate to do in your life. Try to find a realistic solution to avoid those situations. Once you find the grey areas invest your time in researching about the potential problems which are creating road blocks in your life from attaining success, Peace and happiness. Even if you cannot solve all your problems in one day at least you’re headed in the right direction to solve them sooner or later. This exercise relaxes you as a person, you feel refreshed in your life with your mind attaining more energy levels. It also prevents you from making hasty decisions in life. At this point your mind is like a completely recharged battery, Key thing to remember to maintain this balance in life is to never ever let your brain battery drain.
